On the afternoon of June 1, the unveiling ceremony of the "Members’ Home" of the World Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF) and the subsequent site visit by summit guests were held in Beijing on the sidelines of the 2026 WTCF Beijing Xiangshan Tourism Summit. Eighty-one member representatives from 36 countries across the globe gathered to witness the event. Guo Huaigang, Secretary-General of WTCF, and Ángela Moreno, Deputy Mayor of Seville, Spain, attended and jointly unveiled the venue.

As WTCF’s first physical member service platform put into operation, the Members’ Home marks a key initiative of the Federation to upgrade member services and pool industrial strengths, functioning as an ever-open international exchange parlor for all global member entities.
Integrating eight core functions including brand exhibition of member organizations, professional meetings, exchanges and interaction, as well as business negotiations, the venue consists of differentiated functional zones. Its exhibition area showcases premium cultural and tourism resources and development achievements of all members via diverse formats such as joint brand exhibitions, interactive multimedia screens and cultural experience corners. Equipped with a professional multilingual simultaneous interpretation system and full sets of modern conference facilities, the meeting zone is available to host industry forums, investment talks, member salons and other specialized events.

With the support of the Members’ Home, member organizations are no longer limited to resource exhibitions held exclusively during the summit, making sustained year-round display possible. Visitors can learn about the latest developments and distinctive tourism resources of global member cities anytime, and members are provided with a brand-new channel for regular communication, interaction and cooperation.
At the unveiling ceremony, numerous city representatives expressed their hopes for deeper collaboration. Ángela Moreno, Deputy Mayor of Seville, Spain, noted that the Members’ Home turns periodic gatherings at grand summits into daily connections among WTCF partners and brings substantial value to resource sharing across global tourism cities.

In his address, Secretary-General Guo Huaigang stated that the inauguration of the Members’ Home marks a major step for the Federation to strengthen ties among global members and upgrade its service capacity, as well as a brand-new platform to boost international cultural and tourism exchanges and fuel high-quality development of the tourism sector.
The World Tourism Cities Federation will keep leveraging this venue, improve its service system and diversify event forms to deliver thoughtful services to all member organizations. It will stand side by side with partners worldwide to jointly advance the sustained prosperity of the global tourism industry.

Founded in Beijing, the World Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF) is the world’s first international tourism organization composed mainly of cities as its members. Since its establishment in 2012, its membership has expanded from 58 to 263, covering 89 countries and regions across the globe.
Upholding its core philosophy that "Better Tourism, Better Urban Life", the Federation has evolved into an inbound platform drawing global tourism players’ attention to China’s inbound tourism market, as well as an outbound platform showcasing Beijing’s cultural and tourism resources and facilitating Chinese enterprises’ global expansion.
As WTCF’s flagship annual event, the Xiangshan Tourism Summit embodies such mission: it serves as a window for the world to understand Beijing and a tourism bridge linking China with the rest of the world.
