Founded in 2004, Tianjin College of Media & Arts (TCMA) is an application-oriented full-time undergraduate institution specializing in cultivating professionals for media and arts industries. It runs two campuses in Jizhou and Xiqing Districts, covering a total land area of 1,000 mu with a building floor space of 250,000 square meters.

Beijing New Media Joint Laboratory under the National New Media Industry Base (abbreviated as BNMJL) is a state-level platform integrating industry, academia and research. It was officially inaugurated on October 10, 2010 at Xingguang Film & Television Park within the National New Media Industry Base in Daxing District, Beijing.
